My philosophy
I provide tailored psychological therapy
I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and EMDR Therapist and I support people in the Lincoln area. If you are experiencing mental health problems such as anxiety and depression I can help you create meaningful change in your life.

As many as 1 in 4 people will be experiencing mental health difficulties right now. So if you are struggling at the moment, know that you are not alone.

In a safe and confidential environment, I can help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours to gain an understanding of how they impact your quality of life. I pride myself on being creative and tailoring therapy to suit each individual, whilst using treatments that are based on results, evidence and recommended by National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE).

NICE Guidelines: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is the recommended talking therapy for depression and most anxiety disorders.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy that was originally developed to help people heal symptoms of emotional distress caused by traumatic disturbing life experiences.

ACT Therapy is a form of CBT that teaches psychological flexibility. This involves noticing, observing and being mindful of thoughts, images, memories and emotions instead of trying to control, get rid or change them.

can I help You?

Seeing You As An Individual Is Key
can I HElp You?
I offer therapy for a range of emotional difficulties
Although it can help to have a diagnosis or an understanding of what the main problem is, you don't need to have these to access therapy with me. I believe it is important to see you as an individual and create a shared understanding of your needs.

Below is list of common mental health problems that I provide therapy for:
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Post Natal Depression
Social Anxiety Disorder
Health Anxiety
Panic Disorder
Personality Disorders
Grief and Loss
Low Mood
Relationship Difficulties
Interpersonal Issues
Eating disorders
Low Self-Esteem
Body Image Issues
Low Self Confidence
Although this list includes examples of problems I can help with, any form of emotional distress can benefit from therapy. I believe that people do not fit into boxes and this is the approach I use in my practice.

Over 11 Years Experience Delivering Evidence-Based Therapy
As an accredited therapist with over 11 years experience, I have supported people with a range of emotional difficulties
I have experience of working for the NHS in both community and forensic therapy services. I have used CBT methods for over 11 years and have been a qualified CBT Therapist since 2015. I also have experience of supervising other therapists within different mental health services. I now work privately offering therapy to people in Lincoln and the surrounding area.

Being BABCP accredited means I have to maintain high levels of professional standards and deliver evidence-based therapy. This also means I attend regular training events to keep my knowledge, skills and clinical practice up to date. This ensures that you receive high quality therapy to work towards a healthier you.
